Genuine World Dispatch

Editorial policy

Genuine World Dispatch aims to make the movement of ideas understandable without smoothing away the context that gives them meaning. Our editorial choices favour accuracy, independence and transparent corrections.

Accuracy and context

We check names, terms and the context needed to explain a subject, and distinguish established information from interpretation. We avoid presenting one example as representative of an entire language, place or community. If a point is uncertain or varies by context, the wording should make that clear.

Editorial independence

Editorial decisions are made for readers, not as a condition of a commercial arrangement. A partner cannot buy a favourable editorial conclusion or control independent coverage. We do not imply that a collaboration is an endorsement.

Corrections

Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review specific, useful details and correct material when warranted, making changes clear where the correction affects a reader's understanding.

Partnerships and illustrations

Paid, sponsored or partner material is identified clearly as such and kept distinct from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when an illustration is AI-generated, it is labelled so readers can tell it apart from documentary imagery.
